What is microneedling?

What is microneedling?
The softer name is Collagen Induction Therapy. It’s a process that promotes collagen stimulation and causes hyaluronic acid to be deposited into the skin, nourishing it with hydration. As the skin heals your body naturally creates more collagen and elastin in the skin. Results are younger and a more rejuvenated look!
Will I bleed? You might have pin point bleeding in some areas; it really is not that much at all, nothing that you will see when your treatment is done.
What will I look like right after my microneedling treatment? If you are being treated for skin rejuvenation – wrinkles. Your skin will be flushed and bright pink. In some areas you may have more redness. This lasts for about 24 hours. Treatment of scaring is a deeper process, so the redness lasts between 24-36 hours. After the first 24 hours you can use mineral powder to calm down the appearance.
How long does the treatment take?  Including the skin consultation it is about 90 min.The needling is only about 20 – 25 min of the 90.
How many treatments should I have? Since no two clients are the same we suggest that you come in for a free skin consultation. Furthermore, depending on individual factors, including age, skin type, and the area being treated many clients will require more than one treatment. Typically, great improvements in texture and wrinkles are visible in 2-3 treatments.
What does it feel like when I no longer have the effects of the numbing cream? Typically the area will feel warm and tight, similar to a wind burn. You can use a clean cold cloth to ease the warm feeling, and aloe-vera and or moisturizer for the tight feeling and dryness. Rosa Graf – Perfect Boost Hyaluronic Acid – Amazing!
How long do the results last? Typically results of the rejuvenation last for a year. The process of your body creating collagen and elastin is 6 weeks.
